    1. Kia Ora Harriet, this is Shannon from the Summer Learning Journey.

I really like your post, you’ve done a wonderful and original job. Your similes are very descriptive and imaginative. They’ve created some amazing visuals.

I particularly love your third simile, ‘The sky is as clear as glass’. It makes me imagine looking up in the sky and seeing blue for miles! I love looking up into the sky, especially at night. The stars and constellations are breathtaking. Isn’t it crazy to think there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on all the beaches in the world! My favourite constellation is Orion’s Belt because it is the easiest to find in the night sky. You just look for three stars in a straight horizontal line. In New Zealand we can even connect the star-dots to form a pot. You can read more about New Zealand constellations here. Do you have a favourite constellation? What’s your favourite thing to see in the sky? Birds, planes, or jets that leave messages maybe?

I would really appreciate if you could please edit your post to move the text together. This would make it easier for your readers to read, and enhance their experience.

      Hei konā mai,
      Shannon
